Who is writing this?

Denise Cotter

Sometimes I share Christ and sometimes I share life and much is delivered with humor. After all, life is entertaining, and my life is no exception!

I am an artist, a writer, a mother, a loyal friend, a cooker and baker and lover of God.

I believe in the one True God– the Great “I Am” and the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, embodied in the Trinity as Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The bible is the infallible Word of God and verbally inspired by God, the Creator of the Universe, as the revelation of God to man.

My weakness: I fail in my actions and attitude daily to reflect this. My strength: I know that I am not the source of holiness— Christ is! On my journey I want to become more like Christ, not conformed by my strength or by my will but that His Spirit will transform me from the inside out.* My desire is to be a testimony that says, “there is a living God and others may come to know the Lord, Jesus Christ.”

My goal is to be transparent. Join me please!

Luv, Denise Cotter, a.k.a., Rejoycin′

*Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

  1. Hi Denise! I got your message on my blog (Comethirsty.org) and decided to check out yours. I enjoyed it immensely. I was wondering if there was a way I could contact you to ask a question. Thanks, and blessings, Kathy

    • Certainly, you may contact me. I am reading from my phone and could not see an email option. Are you able to Send an email? I will not post it for all to see but delete the message once I get your info.

  2. I loved this line you wrote, “I know that I am not the source of holiness— Christ is!” So many times we create checklists of holiness thinking we can manufacture righteousness. Praise God we are the righteousness of Christ through Him and in Him and by Him!

  3. Mrs. Cotter, I would like to see if our school might be able to use your illustration “Fruit of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22, 23” as our first page in our yearbook this year. Our theme this year focused on this scripture.

  4. Okay, I will talk with our school administrator. Just as an FYI, I am responsible for producing the yearbook for the school. I saw the graphic on Google and wondered if it could be used. In any case, I will get back to you. How much are you thinking it would cost to use the image?
